they have 1 for 1 rolls on wednesday!! very worth and nice. mentaiko given is q generous and there is deep fried cheese in the roll!

back here for the salmon don (~$20) again (‘: it really never disappoints!! 👍🏼

$19 for this is on the pricey side considering it is not a all sashimi. But saving grace is I got it for $9+ because of some happy hour price.

This dish was bursting with umami, garlicky flavors. I enjoyed it thoroughly — my mind told me to stop (carbs!) but my heart cajoled me to finish. I listened to my heart.

While the cooking time takes quite awhile, I noticed most tables ordered this. And I could see why! It’s worth the wait.

If you’d like to indulge a little, they offer another variant where it’s topped with uni at a heftier price tag 🙂

Tofu was light on the palate, and mentaiko sauce added that much needed salty kick.

Unfortunately they served this without a spoon, so my tofu fell apart easily when I tried to pick it up with my chopsticks.

This promotion is only available on Mondays and Thursdays!

My friend and I had a small plate of 10 slices and got ourselves their $5 umeshu (also on promotion) each.

I realised that if you order in big portions, they’d give more fatty salmon belly slices! I ordered a separate single portion of 5 and was served the regular slices.

Sashimi was fresh and the salmon belly melts in your mouth. Definitely a great value for money!

Plum wine was sweet, and while they served a very small cup, I enjoyed it.

Tip: definitely make a reservation before heading down! My friend and I arrived to the sight of a snaking queue.
