Came on a Salmon Madness Monday. Sashimi was fresh but do note they are thinner and almost half size of regular Sashimi from Japanese restaurants. But the salmon was fresh and fatty so we still enjoyed it. We had the Mentaiko Seafood Pasta and Salmon Aburi Udon. I’d say skip the Mentaiko Seafood Pasta, as it was more carbonara. Barely a hint of Mentaiko except for the pink colour which was quite disappointing. Salmon Aburi Udon was better but would appreciate more Mentaiko sauce. I’d say skip the mains, just come for the Sashimi. There were quite a few tables who bought sashimi and garlic fried rice instead, something I’d definitely do the next time I’m here. Service is prompt but a little curt (not rude, just not very friendly).

they have 1 for 1 rolls on wednesday!! very worth and nice. mentaiko given is q generous and there is deep fried cheese in the roll!

back here for the salmon don (~$20) again (‘: it really never disappoints!! 👍🏼

$19 for this is on the pricey side considering it is not a all sashimi. But saving grace is I got it for $9+ because of some happy hour price.

This dish was bursting with umami, garlicky flavors. I enjoyed it thoroughly — my mind told me to stop (carbs!) but my heart cajoled me to finish. I listened to my heart.

While the cooking time takes quite awhile, I noticed most tables ordered this. And I could see why! It’s worth the wait.

If you’d like to indulge a little, they offer another variant where it’s topped with uni at a heftier price tag 🙂

Tofu was light on the palate, and mentaiko sauce added that much needed salty kick.

Unfortunately they served this without a spoon, so my tofu fell apart easily when I tried to pick it up with my chopsticks.
