It’s no secret that this renowned Bali bakery has entered our Singapore scene and nestled itself within a very unassuming spot along Havelock Road.
They have a relatively aged starter resulting in more sour tasting breads, although, they do compliment really well with their open-faced toast/sandwich combinations (think Meaty Mushrooms, 3-Cheese, Avocado Bawang).
Favourite Posh Toast was this sweet variation with their housemade Mascarpone, Walnuts, Bee Pollen and Black Sea Salt. I’ve always preferred more spreads, so I wished there was a thicker schmear of Mascarpone that I could sweep up with that beauty of a crust though.

Tried one of their Posh Toasts - Honeyed Mascarpone Toast. Poshly priced at $14, the sourdough was crusty and had a nice chewy bite. The house-made mascarpone was creamy and dressed with a drizzle of honey, pinch of Black Sea salt and crushed walnuts. Makes for a nice treat but probably not something I’ll eat often given the price point. The ambience of the bakery is cosy and there are quite a lot of seats for you to chill out with a coffee or with friends.

It would be more worth it to do a takeaway - $11 for 1kg was a decent price for a premium sourdough loaf. For starters, country sourdough would be a good choice.
I enjoyed the jam very much - I should have asked for the jam!

smoked salmon + pickled cucumber & radish, house-made dill crème fraiche + danish rye
