First time eat nonya food, super nice! Love the atmosphere and the waitress is very kind and polite.

*Rice is $2 per pax free flow

Because they say, good food are meant to be shared. Here at Straits Chinese, they serve heartwarming nonya meal. Managed by Guan Hoe Soon Group which is the oldest Nonya restaurant in Singapore. In frame will be their Ikan Assam Nanas Pedas [$36.80] and Nonya Popiah [8.80]. I'm not a fish person but I'm loving the fish here especially with their special Assam curry, brings a very homely taste. Popiah is wrapped with egg skin, adds an extra sweetness.

The interior of the restaurant is filled with all sorts of Nonya pieces and items (Swipe to last photo for the interior). They also showcase authentic nonya bowl which was beautiful and they are all passed down from generations.

Ordered 2 set nonya lunch and beef rendang. Comes with free-flow of rice, dessert and drink, the lunch set is really value for money. May not be the most authentic one but definitely a place that you can grab the seat easily and have a relax lunch. $45 for 2 person.
