Twice the price of Jasmine rice. Maybe the peas, cumin seed and banana leaf make the aroma more enticing! We update our earlier review as one of us feel the grain of pilaf rice is bigger & nicely cooked so that might justify its price.

As mentioned in earlier post, this Aloo Gobi Sabzi dish is too similar to mixed vegetable Sabzi. We prefer mixed vegetable one but a good attempt. Wish there are more dish varieties.

First visit at this Vegetarian restaurant in BKK we ordered this dish. This time we order it again as the staff mention that mixed vegetable (our initial order) is too similar to Aloo Gobi Sabzi. We always have a soft spot for Paneer (cheese) dish but note also that it is slightly more expensive than other dishes.

Chilling at a well known Ayervedic eatery “Suananda” (Su=good, Ananda = ultimate bliss) in Bangkok for a healthy lunch. Very nice ambience with both indoor & patio seatings. Ayervedic diet seems to adopt global cuisine as we can see a lot of inspired dish ranging from Burmese to Japanese cuisines. We choose ala carte rather than the set menu. 👉

🔸Home blended Ayervedic tea (Pitta Tea & Vata tea)
🔸House Paneer & Peas curry
🔸Mixed vegetable Sabzi
🔸Mung bean lemon salad
🔸Organic red rice

All the dishes are nicely presented with a slightly spicy “sabzi” (Persian herb stew) as a highlight of the show. The dish portion is small compared to its price tag. Those who seek a retreat and believe in health benefit of Ayervedic diet can give it a try. It is quite an eye opening experience for us. 👁

We tried 2 in-house Ayervedic Tea Sets served in a glass teapot with ceramic tile coasters. ☺️ We pick the set based on its health benefits:
👉 Pitta Tea: help to balance fire element (digestion, metabolism, immune function)
👉 Vata Tea: help in body balance & communication. It is really soothing with camomile hint.
