Beside the drink, make sure you grab some of their ice cream here as well. You could get the single scoop or accompany with a waffle.

Interesting to find this cafe hidden within this HDB Mall at 888 Plaza serving ice cream, waffles, açai bowl and drinks.

Their iced tea series are all refreshing including this. Worth to chill after having meal around this area.

Hadn’t visited them in a while despite its vicinity, but I guess now having had their Classic Waffles I may actually end up here more often than what I had thought previously. No doubt the ice-cream felt decent but pretty pedestrian overall; the Hazelnut Rocher being a wee bit too sweet as compared to the Cookies & Cream — the latter being a crowd favourites with a generous load of cookie chunks for a good crunch churned with cream, but the star has to be the waffle. Not only does it come plush and adequately dense, the waffle also wafts of a buttermilk fragrance that is nothing short of alluring — a very well-made waffle that could rival that of more established names out there. A hidden gem in a neighbourhood far away for most, but certainly somewhere I should appreciate more considering its location away from my ‘hood.

It had always been exciting to see cafes sprout up in neighbourhoods — even more so to find one opening in Woodlands considering the lack of cafes in this area of Singapore.

Serving up ice-cream in cups, cones and waffles, as well as cakes and other bakes displayed in the chiller at the counter, the Honey & Figs ice-cream is one which I would go for again. Coming with a Lotus cookie by the side, the Honey & Figs ice-cream was all that I was looking for — a simple base that's milky and mildly sweet churned with bits of caramelised figs for a slight chew and a complimenting sweetness. Pretty decent for a convenient hangout in the neighbourhood; no doubt one of those generic cafes that often pop up during the cafe boom a couple of years ago, but great to have for the residents in the area.
