Came back to @suju_masayuki_singapore with the family and had the chicken udon this time. It's super tasty and filling because of the large tender pieces of chicken meat in it. We had other items like the grilled salmon and the grilled chicken, the grilled chicken was crispy and seasoned nicely with salt and pepper too 😋

"Sendai" Wagyu Sukiyaki Nabe
Sendai beef and vegetables stewed in Suju's speciality sauce with apples. Served with small bowl of rice

Here we comes again for heightened measure on no dine-in allowed during this period of time.

Was at Jewel the day before the measure started, as I have been wanted to try this place.

A Japanese restaurant that have another outlet at Orchard Road. Gotten their Iberico Pork Misozuke, which comes with a few pieces that perfectly grilled. They were juicy and seasoned well. Pair well with their Japanese white rice and miso soup. $28++

Deep-fried Chicken and Vegetables sautéed with Suju’s black vinegar

They specialise in miso and vinegar so I decided to try this. Love the black vinegar glaze! Everything is well cooked and tasty - including the miso soup and rice. Reminds me of food in Japan.

I saw many having the miso nabe and I want to try that next.

Thought it was pricey, but it came in a big portion that’s good for 2 to share. This had shrimps, chicken chunks and dried scallop bits. Really enjoyed the super flavourful dashi here! Egg was smooth too.

Picked the chicken thigh tempura, but they also have the usual prawns and full vegetables options on the menu. The set is served with rice (white/seasoned), miso soup and pickles. Definitely go for the seasoned rice! It has a savoury mix of vegetables and some bits of mushrooms in it, not seasoned too heavily so it still complements very well. Was hoping for a more juicy piece of chicken tempura, but it was still thinly battered and fried nicely. I’d also prefer a touch more seasoning in the batter. Ingredients were fresh!
