These were gifted! Comes in 8 flavours.
- Yuzu, spiced coconut, plantation rum (top left): yuzu was refreshing and sour, this was my fav part of the mooncake. The rum flavour was subtle, could have been stronger.
- Black sesame: it was quite gao but not overly sweet. Decent but not wow, and the skin was little less soft compared to the rest.
- Matcha: the matcha lotus paste was perfumed with a strong matcha fragrance, almost kinda flowery.
- White lotus: smooth lotus paste, nothing much to nitpick about
- Orange: the orange taste was pretty strong but not overwhelming, liked it! Pretty interesting, reminded me of orange cookies.
- Durian: more muted flavours compared to Goodwood park hotel’s / capitol kempinski hotel’s. Not the best.
- Lotus, white choc, cherry & pistachio (pink): not my favourite, the flavours didn’t go well together and I couldn’t taste the pistachio.
- Coffee, marzipan (brown): marzipan taste was strong, coffee flavour in the truffle encased within the mooncake was q nice but overall, this one was sweetness overkill.

We used to come here quite often: Among the better Chinese restaurants in the Orchard Road area, it's relatively easy to get a booking at the last minute, and they accept the Entertainer 1-for-1 offer (sadly, not any more). I have stayed away after the food poisoning scandal that caused it to get a C-good safety rating for a while. That temporary absence provided a fresh view of the restaurant: it's pretty good, but in all aspects (food, service, décor) it's significantly inferior to the Summer Pavilion at the Ritz Carlton- one rare instance where a Pavilion is better than a Palace! In the Orchard Rd area, I will go there only if I cannot get a last-minute booking at Jiang-Nan Chun, Hua Ting, Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck or TeoChew!

Jot this oriental beauty down for lazy group luncheons. Sure to hook you is their super fresh Steamed Cod (from $22) that stars a generous portion of moist and delectably flaky cod fillet steamed with sliced shiitake mushrooms, red dates and dried lily buds in a light soya sauce. Order the well-presented Lobster Dumplings ($10) for naturally-sweet mouthfuls of lobster, prawn, caviar and goji!

Yes, We've Opt For Executive Chinese Chef Liu's Tasting Menu [$60] Which includes A Cup Of Tea! Menu offers weekly rotational of the menus featuring Chef Liu's signature wok-fried dishes, traditional dim sum delights and a selection of nutritious double-boiled soups!.

The only regret was not booking early because all the window seats was fully booked!

I'm not a fan when it comes to fried food. But these Deep Fried Prawn and Mango Rolls got my eyes all lit up. The crunch is so light, airy and not oily at all! No dripping oil all over your mouth. The noodles that they use to wrap around the filling are so thin! Usually, other similar dimsum dishes use meesua. But this tastes really different! The texture is really good. Probably because that it's exceptionally thin, it's crunchier and less oily! Only gripe bout this dish would be, i hope the mango : prawn ratio can be higher! Otherwise, it's close to perfection. Another must-try at this restaurant.

The steamed charsiew buns are quite passable so you may give them a miss! Stir-fried Turnip Cake with X.O. Sauce is delectable. Portion is huge for that so I would recommend it for sharing among at least 3 pax so that you leave space for more dimsum! The restaurant exudes serenity and peace. Our table faces the bamboos across at the other building and the tables are all spaced nicely apart ensuring some privacy. I'm loving this place &i cant wait to be back for my next visit! Mother's Day maybe? 😉

A spin off the regular hargow! The prawn, carrot and some coriander are wrapped in that translucent skin. The skin is thin yet has a slight chew to it - omg the best skin ever? I love how the coriander gives this dimsum an elevated taste with it's fragrance. It complements the sweetness of the prawn really well.

Another must-try would be their Squid Ink and Seafood Dumplings! The skin has a different texture (slightly thicker) and is made from squid ink! The dumpling is topped with ebiko that sends an added dimension to the dish. The roe pops as you bite into it!

Their Baked Seafood and Morel Mushroom Tarts are pretty good! Really creamy texture that's not too jelat, something novel other than the usual steamed ones.
