Hokkien style savoury herbal soup base.
Chewy, succulent and tender pork.
For sharing of course.
Awesome!
This place is an institution for bak kut teh and I can see why. Soup is sweet and tastes of herbs, pork rib and pork belly succulent - what else could you ask for? That being said, not the best BKT I’ve tasted but this really hits the spot. RM18 for 1 pax.
This was Great! Definitely worth a try. They only have one size, no small or big or even medium.
Ordered it cause it sounded weird and special. Wasn't expecting much but after it came and we tasted it, Wow!
It was something like Marmite but it wasn't. It didn't taste like coffee but smelled a whiff like coffee. It was sweet and the sauce was thick.
This is a 2 person's portion. They have options for Bak Kut Teh with or without the vegetables. BUT unfortunately, the price you pay would be the same.
Was quite dissapointed with their Bak Kut Teh. The soup was not as flavourful and there were too little meat BUT the meat was quite tender. When ordering, they said they didn't have a lot of things. Even after ordering we had people come back saying they didn't have this either. At least they informed us, but if they didn't have it, it made us think what did they have.
Slightly upset because it's supposed to be famous. Bright side, maybe they sold out cause they were that famous.

An awesome broth, savoury and herbal with some sweetness. Meat is tender, vegetables are fresh, though the stomach is rather firm.
What's a trip to KL without BKT?? Visited this 40 year old BKT store serving up authentic herbal BKT from 6am - 11pm every day.
