The yellowtail cheek grilled with salt is one of our favourite items to order. The fish is always very tender. If you prefer it less salty, there is an option to select "no salt" when ordering from the iPad. Sad that this piece was a little smaller than usual.

Price: $15.80

Generally we are not a big fan of Aburi style (flame seared style) but this one is an exception!
Served alternately between maguro and salmon, they taste so awesome with avocado and fish roe (cavier??) 🤑
P.S. towel is $0.2 each and refillable hot green tea $2.4 each

This is like a prom date. On your left, salmon belly sushi and on your right hamachi sushi. Hamachi is very popular Japanese yellowtail aka. Buri, Amberjack. We order them separately and got served in 1 dish. They are buttery & creamy. Good for someone who look for rich taste in their sushi

Curiosity takes over again and it is so rewarding!!
Their Singapore rendition of Yaki udon shows that they care about the dish quality. From the giant size prawn until the calamansi and chili. At a glance, it looks like a twin of Hokkien prawn mee but the udon noodle got distinctive aroma and unique texture. 👌

Browse through their menu this lunch and we are curious to try the “Sushi Tei Chef Challenge” dish and this is one of them created by Tiong Bahru Plaza.
We can understand why this is a top voted dish among sushi tei fans. The eel wraps around cucumber & avocado sushi roll and sprinkled with fried shred crab meat! that doesn’t look like one at all. 🦀 😍 Taste crunchy with veg filling & so satisfying with a mouthful of Unagi 🤤

Pan fried Japanese pork belly with sweet sauce on rice》$10.50

I ordered this after trying the Kagoshima pork belly sushi previously that made me crave for it again. This time round I got the don which was more worth the price tag. Instead of having a whole long slice of pork belly on their sushi, the don comes with smaller pieces of meat and onions. It was still as good especially with their sweet sauce on plain rice. Craving satisfied! 😊 I'm just wondering if they have the option to swap my plain rice for sushi rice? Maybe I should try that next time 🤔
