First time trying Sushiro with my friend. I would say the quality of the ingredients are really good. At first I thought it is just overhype but after trying it, I really understand why it is worth the wait. The tonkotsu soup is delicious and can compare to lots of ramen restaurant. The fried prawn (which we forgot to take) is crispy and prawn is fresh. The only downside I think is rice sticky that it stick to the plate which result the nigri to break apart.

Fresh, juicy, chill and oceanic. Gave a good portion too.

Erupted volcano full of savoury eggs. Sibei shiok!

It’s Phase 2 Heightened Alert which means no dining out. Bought takeaway from Sushiro and chose my own sushi because I didn’t like the default sets πŸ˜‚

$2.20+ per plate of 2 sushi:
- Salmon belly
- Swordfish
- Salmon with Basil Cheese
- Salmon with Spicy Cheese

$3.20+ per plate:
- Jumbo scallop torched with soy sauce

Total bill is $12.84 after GST

I like that they provided ice pack and the sushi remained fresh when I reach home after 20 mins. The staff at cwp outlet were very friendly and allowed us to sit at one of the booths to fill the takeaway form. Glad to also receive a stamp on the loyalty card for this takeaway, which means we can clock our visits with takeaway too πŸ€—

Happy to know that Sushiro is finally here in the North!!! They serve rly good quality sushi at affordable prices – red plates $2.20, yellow plates $3.20 and black plates $4.80.

Some of the must-trys include fatty tuna sushi ($2.20 or $4.80) good old salmon sushi ($2.20), inari ($2.20 because of how sweet it was!) and some of their fried stuffs like the tempuras which were done really well. There are also other dishes which we’ve tried at the Tiong Bahru outlet like the tuna with green onion and yellowtail sushi. They’re all very fresh and super worth it.

Total damage for 2 pax was about ~$30

Salmon Sashimi ($4.80) / Salmon with Onion ($2.20) / Salmon with Basil Cheese (my sister and i felt that it's so-so only but it's quite strong taste for cheese. / Salmon with Cheese ($2.20) (my sister and i felt that it's quite gd as the taste for cheese is nt that strong.

Matcha Catalana (March - Seasonal Menu) ($3.50) was quite hard surface and need to be got some strength πŸ’ͺ to cut thru the cake. Similar concept to creme brulee. I like their bitter taste for matcha πŸ‘
