my friend and i ate 4 plates of sushi each and a bowl of clam miso soup, and the price after GST & service charge was around $13-$14 which is really not too bad for restaurant fare!

none of the sushi rly stood out though - my favourite was the corn mayo sushi & avocado prawn roll i believe? the fish roe & cream cheese sushi was good too but don’t eat all the cream cheese if not v jelak

The otoro was firm and yet it melted in your mouth, really nice rice as well, good rolls of rice that had a hint of vinegar. Went during the promotion for otoro ($2.20) per piece and it's super worth it!!

The Circuit Breaker has got me rolling around the house in agony because it’s so hard to satisfy all my food cravings and I’ve literally dreamt of sushi 3 times already. So you bet I was thrilled when I found out that Sushiro now has a takeaway and delivery option. As I live near Tiong Bahru Plaza, all I needed to do was call in advance, tell them what time I would reach and voila, everything was prepared neatly in a cute baggie for me. They even provided ice packs to keep the sushi fresh and cold, which I thought was a nice gesture. And as always, sushi was hella good and I died and went to heaven over and over again with every bite. I wonder if they’ll let me move in.

I’ve gone to sushiro so many damn times that the staff probably know my name, where I stay, my ic number and how many times I’ve taken a dump this week. Ok but that aside, sushiro really has THE BEST sushi in Singapore. It’s pretty much the closest thing you can get to actual sushi from Japan (minus all the expensive Japanese restaurants and omakase spots that I can never afford. We are talking about food for broke people here). Seafood is fresh, creations are innovative, staff are nice. My boyfriend and I are considering getting married here.

Instead of the salmon and maki that you’re all accustomed to, swipe this plate from the conveyor belt when you visit Sushiro. Thank me later.

Takes a lot to be the best, but this might just be it. Finally trying out the highly-raved Sushiro and understanding what all the hype was about 🥺

Items we’d recommend after spending a bomb in a single visit:
🍣 Swordfish ($2.20/2pcs)
🍣 Albacore Tuna ($3.20/2pcs)
🍣 Triple Salmon ($3.20/3pcs)
🍣 Fatty Tuna ($4.80/pc)

There wasn’t any one plate that we didn’t enjoy but these were our favourites that we found ourselves going back for seconds (and thirds and fourths.... 💸). Can’t wait for our next visit TAKE MY MONEY SUSHIRO.
