The sambal grilled fish ($15.90++) is my go-to order! The fish is fresh and succulent, lightly seasoned and grilled crisp. Good enough to eat on its own! A pity that they didn’t have shoestring fries available for selection that day - those are my favourite. But the sambal sauce pairs well with the mashed potato and seasonal vegetables!

Went to try out the NDP promo at Swensen’s, giving 1-for-1 Hazel Daze / Salted GulaMelaka Heaven, which amounted to about $13.89 for both.

The Hazel Daze came with crunchy wafer cubes, hot fudge and melted marshmallows. Flavors of the ice cream were mocha almond fudge and hazelnut, hence there was a nice coffee taste to it.

The salted gula melaka on the other hand was less sweet compared to Hazel Daze. I would say the taste of the ice cream was also milder. But I really like how it was accompanied with the crispy chocolate balls and rice puffs.

Overall both sundaes were delicious! Staff were also friendly and accommodating. Enjoy the NDP promo till end of Sept 2020!

We always patronize Swensen's to enjoy their 1-for-1-main offer. As a Swensen's member, I enjoy a free drink for each visit as well. This time round I got a free scoop of ice-cream because I submitted an online feedback.

Food quality-wise, Swensen's very seldom disappoint me. My all-time favourite crayfish pasta was delicious as usual, and my DD's beef lasagne made her left Swensen's with 100% satisfaction đź‘Ťđź‘Ť.

(I asked our girl if she wants to eat ice cream). You want to eat one right? Your better half knows you so well. The Mrs said, take the “Topless 5” instead of Earthquake. You save calories (5 instead of 8 scoops) and is way way way much cheaper coz you are not paying for dry ice and toppings that we don’t want the little girl to eat. I didn’t know! Now I know! Did you?

Not one of the best branch as their spagetti was overly oily. The teriyaki sauce over the chicken was too sweet too.
