Bookmark this communal-style dining restaurant in Damansara Kim for celebrations over Buckwheat Fried Chicken (from RM24), Charred Eggplant (RM21) and Sticky Pork Ribs (from RM30). Everything on the menu is made for sharing, and there's also a solid selection of wine to pair with the meal – let the friendly team recommend some house pours. Pro tip: If you're celebrating a birthday with a cake, the restaurant provides all you need, including candles and a cake stand.

Charred eggplant with miso butter, bonito flakes and onion purĂ©e is something I don’t mine having all time. I’ve always have a soft spot for eggplant with miso. Theirs was slightly over charred and a little under seasoned despite there’s bonito flakes. RM21 per serving.

House made pork meatballs cooked in lovely Pomodoro sauce with slices of freshly baked sourdough. The meatball was nicely seasoned with herbs and toasted sourdough with olive oil is so good and flawless. Perfect meal for the sourdough lovers Available for lunch only. RM17 per serving.

A must to order to as a starter. Charred with chimichurri sauce, it’s still crunchy and flavourful.

Say ‘fried chicken’ to any foodie, and they’ll point you straight to this family-style restaurant in Damansara Kim. Here, the Fried Chicken (from RM24) is dredged in buckwheat, resulting in a crispy and light-as-air skin, while still retaining its juicy meat. Burppler XingWei Cheang describes it as “clean and elegant tasting”. They say it's meant for sharing but we say handle it solo.
