This is quite nice - there are more roasted almonds, but also much sweeter compared to tai thong’s. There’s a greater proportion of candied components, which contributes to the sweetness. This is like the showier, overcompensating cousin of tai thong. Prefer tai thong’s but this is still good if you want something heavier.

Very interesting. There's still lotus paste, but there's also lava. I don't know how they maintain the texture.

That old school nostalgia.
Get these good piggies from tai chong kok! Old-tradition chinese bake house never gets it wrong! These piggies definitely looked more defined, with better taste than the $0.50 ones from supermarkets!!

$2 for 2 piggies per basket.

They placed fresh, hot moon cakes on racks- what an interesting sight!

Some moon cakes for you?? I like mine without the yolks! It's so good... Mmhmmmmmmmm

Didn't plan on buying it at all, but heard many colleagues talking about it before our corporate bazaar sales, hence I decided to try it too, since I have always loved such walnut pastry mooncake! This is the nutty butter pastry combo at $22 for 4 pieces! There is walnut, macademia, almond and pecan nuts! It comes w a salted egg in each of it too! Other than the different nuts, everything else tastes the same! Will recommend this! #walnutmooncake #mooncake #nuttymooncake #mooncakepastry #pastry #burpple #burpplesg #taichongkok #food #foodiesg #sgfoodie #whati8today #8dayseat #vscofoodie #iweeklyfood #foodporn #foodstagram #vscofood #foodphotography #sgmakan #sgmakandiary #sgfoodstagram #singaporeeats #exploresingaporeeats #exploresg #whatsgoodhere #sgfoodies
