Tai-Croissant specializes in taiyaki with croissant skin. There are 13 sweet and savory flavors to choose from, wrapped in more than 80 layers of crispy croissant pastry.

Not too sure why is there a “baked” wording in the drink name but is definitely not some “baked milk” here. Fresh milk with red bean, not something very wow but more of a staple drink that someone would like to have on a non-cheating day!

I love croissants and am not a fan of taiyaki so I liked this idea of filling the croissants. The croissant pastry was crisp and slightly sweet. The ham and cheese flavour was generous and the apple cinnamon had apple chunks in them too.

Ongoing Promotion - Buy 2 Croissant and 2nd Piece (Half Price)
- Matcha Red Bean Croissant (抹茶红豆) ($4.30) filled Matcha Cream and Red Bean Paste. I really like bitter and sweet for Matcha and Red Bean taste and quite crispy and tasty for outer skin for Croissant.
- Okinawa Mochi (小倉沖繩麻糬) ($2.90) filled Red Bean and chewy mochi. I really like sweetness of red bean and not much flavour for chewy mochi.

Its June and the season of durians so everywhere's having durian as their special flavour haha. Got this MSW durian croissant and i quite liked the croissant on its own. Its glazed over with sugar on one side and the other side is plain i think, which is great because that helps to prevent the croissant from being overly sticky and sweet.

Brought this home so by the time i consumed it, was kind of nua already 😅 but certain parts still remained rather crisp, and i liked the chewy dough of the rest.

The durian filling was nice, didn't feel as if they added alot of sugar/sweetener. The filling was kind of little which I had kind of suspected would be the case because the croissant looked so flat 😹 A little pricey considering the amount of filling, and its not just with the durian one.

Yes yes it’s not the traditional taiyaki, but we decided to give @taicroissantsg a go anyway and found it to be pretty darn good! We went for the classic red bean paste filling which complimented the buttery pastry really well. Didn’t manage to try other ones but with interesting flavours like Okinawa Mochi, Hokkaido custard, Apple Cinnamon and even Cheesy smoked chicken, we’ll probably be looking for every opportunity to head back 🙄
