Slowly becoming my favorite fish soup. The thick noodles is thinner than the usual, making it lighter and more satisfying. Chili padi with garlic soy sauce only makes it better.

Still trying to figure out how to get into the auntie’s good books so she’d give me more chili. Will update when I succeed. (Rating:😬)

Hidden within the Tai Sun Coffeeshop at Kitchener Complex, those who do not work in this area have probably never heard of this fish soup. However, those who do know are in the non-stop queue. While it might look long, it moves fast (15 minutes) and the Mixed Sliced Fish Bee Hoon ($5) is worth the wait. The soup is well-balanced and the fish is very fresh, but the rockstar is has to be the fried egg bits!

Not bad value considering you get not only an additional beansprout dish but an egg for $5. (I added the gizzards for an additional $0.50)

It’s not going to be the best chicken rice or one that makes you remember it, but when you’re around the area and craving for a decent plate then here’s an option for you.

Value for money find. The meatballs were really fresh, springy and tasty. Will make sure to try the mee tai mak option next time. Highly recommend! 😋

The texture of the mee pok is pretty good, would eat again.

The horror of CNY where most shops are closed for the occasion. With very limited choices, i decided to try something I had not had here before.

The briyani is fluffy and slightly fragrant, but the winner here surprisingly is the chicken. It was cooked perfectly juicy and has a slightly charred flavor on the skin.
