Left to right: Seaweed paste, Mayo & Mentaiko, Tomato sauce, Ikura & salmon flake, Crabmeat
The skewers was quite filling and you can taste the sweetness in the omelette.
+$3 for salmon. The foamy egg wasn't too my liking. The whole dish tasted very raw. Their salmon wasn't fresh either.
Egg-citing Japanese cafe located @Nex
With a menu that's all egg-related.
Honestly speaking, I love eggs. High hope for this newly open cafe at Nex mall serangoon.
Was told that all the eggs used in this cafe are "UV sterilizated" originated from Okinawa, Japan which are supposed to be healthier?
Varieties of choice are offered in the menu from Egg skewers omelettes to donburi, omu rice and even souffle pancakes.
Recommended to bring a few friends along to try out their Ala Carter menu.
PS: I brought along 5 others so I managed to order almost everything on the menu.

Smooth, fluffy and sweet omelette on top of well cooked Japanese rice with lightly flavoured sauce.
The beef is alright, can be a little bit more tender.
Overall, we enjoyed the dish!
This is a popular Kansai matsuri (festival) food. It is basically okonomiyaki or savoury pancake on chopsticks. It is served with a sunny-side fried egg on top.

This dish is the signature item in this place. It is the ultimate TKG which stands for Tamago Kake Gohan, a traditional dish eaten only by mixing a fresh raw egg with white rice. The egg white is whipped into a fluffy cloud-like texture for the best taste.
