Fresh tender calamari pieces coated with somewhat salted batter fried to a crispy golden brown perfection. Calamari were chunky enough to tatse its existence after coated and deep-fried.

Delicious curry with good combination of spices and true crab meat. Papaya salad was zingy and a little spicy. Worthy.

Crispy sea bass fillet on the menu, but I think the Thai name is Nam Tok Pla. I had this years ago in Bangkok and have been searching for it since on these shores; happy to say this version is a welcome find. Decent amount of fish with that subtle but refreshing zing to awaken the palate. I’ll be back!

From Tamarind Kitchen at Pasarbella at Suntec City just located beside Choo Choo Chicken. Described as "Chiang Mai Curry Noodles with Crispy Wontons, feelings got a little cheated when the wontons appeared to be the crispy, fried noodles atop the curry. Flavour-wise it's pretty decent, but quite un-Thai in a way where at times it feels like curry Mee Pok (yes; the same noodles are used here). A chicken drumstick comes with it, which was tender and succulent while the thick and rich curry does carry a hint of Thai spices only when one sips a good amount of the gravy — wasn't really spicy in my opinion.
