The food was good, didn’t have to wait too long for the food. Quite crowded during dinner time.

Ordered the Nasi Campur (beef redang, sayur lodeh, sambal goreng) and Singkong Santan (tapioca leaves in coconut gravy) and the satay. All was tasty esp singkong which it not easily available.

Served in half-dozen, with choice to select different combinations of flavours. Featured here's 3 chicken and 3 beef. While $9.90++ for 6 may appear a tad too expensive, you're definitely getting your money's worth with larger portions of skewered meat - approx 20% larger than the regular satay sizes from hawker centre? Served with a side of sliced cucumbers and mandatory peanut gravy (you can ask for more!)

Left: Satay
Right: Tahu Telor

Bottom: Beef Lembu - Spicy beef rendang which is a tad too oily to my liking! It was flavourful but nothing exactly mind-blowing in my opinion.

Do not underestimate the size this fried beancurd tower. It was served larger than what was pictured. It's HUGE! Easily feeds 3-4pax and incredibly delicious! Godma who was a regular of Tambuah Mas in the working days back at their very first outlet (Tanglin) had plenty praises for their dishes, and commented that the food "still held its standard like before". The beancurd cubes were cut into pretty sizable chunks - the size was perfect for a satisfying bite and grip. Splitting open the tower will reveal layers of eggs and more crispy bits, doused in generous sweet sauce. The soft tahu, crispy bits combi and sweet sauce combi were incredibly addictive! This is definitely not the healthiest of meatless dish but easily one that shouldn't be missed!
