Tamoya Udon (Plaza Singapura)

Used Burpple deal. Lunch comes with a free item: I opted for gyoza and my friend, pumpkin tempura.

I ordered the sanuki beef egg udon. Nice! The broth is decent. When the lunch crowd comes in, it’s almost full house. Will go again.

A little too salty for me but overall a very savoury and tasty dish. So many great flavours coming together. It’s hard to go wrong with beef and egg!

We visited on a weekday evening and managed to get seats for two easily. The place is quite a casual eatery with good quality udon at reasonable prices. There is also 8% GST that will be charged in the final bill.

If you like deep flavours in your soup, this is your thing. Soup is very flavourful and has strong aoma of garlic without being overpowering.
Charshu looks pale and plain but it melts in your mouth. The horse mackerel tasted great as it was freshly fried. 30% off the entire set with a drink. Worth it.

Ordered their truffle ramen and its really pretty good! Broth was flavourful too ~

Really delicious.

There's a lot of tender beef, udon was not bad, seaweed and tempure bits were nice too. The soy sauce dashi was very comforting

I won't say it's a must try because it's not unique, but this is really superb execution of comfort food, no wonder they're the winner. I enjoyed it very much and I highly doubt u can find better udon at this price point in singapore

back here again to try other things! sadly no longer a 1-for-1 deal here but the food’s still good. this was the black garlic tonkontsu ramen ($12.90), broth was really fragrant (the garlick-y kind) and quite rich! q enjoyed this, would definitely recommend
