Brought all the way from Tamoya Japan, from Kagawa prefecture, Sanuki udon is hand-crafted from Tamoya's proprietary flour mixture (made from 3 different flour) and is served with "golden dashi" broth. This was pretty good, I liked the combination of all three eggs (mentaiko, salmon roe and onsen egg)! It was really creamy and would eat again, but might not travel there jUST for it 😊

For a fast and satisfying meal around Clarke Quay, look to this udon joint housed in Liang Court. Fans of hearty soup bases, fire up the Black Garlic Tonkotsu ($10.80), comprising a thick and flavourful pork broth topped with generous pork slices. Out of the 2, I prefer the Mala Tonkotsu Udon which is on a mala-scale that's generally more acceptable level and if it is not spicy enough for you, feel free to add on their chili padi 🌶️.

For the Spicy Chasu Tsuke Udon, first mix the sparingly udon noodles with a flowly onsen egg, then dip the udon into special spicy dipping sauce that's flavorful and spicer than the mala.

A really hearty bowl of noodles for a rainy day! Loved every element of this dish, especially the generous slices of pork 🤤

Udon was really flavourful but may get jelak after awhile since its really rich in flavour. Not a big fan of the tempura though! Should have kept an eye out for those fresh out of the oil, the one I got was quite soggy and cold.
