😍 Din Tai Fung do the absolute best dim sum, these veggie dumplings are incredible. Very exciting as London has finally announced the opening of not one but TWO outlets of DTF, so I can get me some bao when back at home too!
Din Tai Facts: DTF was named one of the top ten restaurants in the world by The New York Times in 1993 and in 2009, the restaurant's first Hong Kong branch was awarded a coveted Michelin star.

A durian cake was the objective and all we could find in Tampines Mall was Ke Le’s pop up store at the level 1 food fair. A bite into the generous samples and we knew we were in for a treat; our choice of the charcoal Mao Shan Wang Roll was spectacular with a soft, grainy charcoal roll holding together an unadulterated Mao Shan Wang purée with evident bits of durian flesh. This was arguably one of the better- if not best durian desserts I’ve had in awhile.
Officially the brand Ke Le has been positively etched in my mind; something I would consider getting again if I spot it in Chinatown/ any of their pop ups.

OI-SA! 🙌
As part of the Northern Japan Fair from 2 June to 3 July at Level 1 Atrium, Tampines, you can find the popular Hachikyo Overflowing Ikura Don ($25.80 to $59.80) and you can see the video as you scroll through this post 😂
Don’t miss out other items such as Snaffles Catch Cake, Hokuyu Butter Manju, Yakiimo Baked Potato (don’t have to queue at Don Don) 😋
