From the Burpple community

We came by for brunch over the weekends, service was quick, the owner was funny, friendly and attentive too.

We had Chicken Vindaloo, Mutton Rogan Josh, Garlic Naan, Phudina Paratha.

The mutton was a little chewy but there was no weird mutton smell in the Rogan Josh. The dish itself was aromatic and there is a hint of spiciness in it.

Whereas the Chicken Vindaloo was ON FIRE πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ no doubt it’s delicious but really spicy for me and addictive. I was surprised that there a lot of chicken in this dish. The owner was busy refilling my glass with ice water 🀣

Both breads were delicious but I prefer the naan more because of its fluffier texture compared to the paratha which is a little dense.

I’m definitely dropping by again, there are so many things on the menu that I want to try.

Aloo gobi
Garlic naan (not pictured) - thin and fluffy, not oily.

This was such a satisfying dinner! Palak paneer is in a league of its own - not jelat at all. A definite must order. Love how much spinach they used!
Aloo gobi was packed with heaps of flavour with roasted cauli and potatoes.

Will return even without BB - I can't have palak paneer anywhere else now πŸ’―

butter chix, aloo gobi, garlic naan, masala tea $30.40 (after 141!) + free keropok(? abt 3-4 pcs) and water πŸ˜‹

Located in Balestier Plaza, head to this North Indian curry house for authentic and tasty meals. Round up your group of spice-loving friends and feast on the Chicken Vindaloo ($15.50) or keep it mild with Prawn Masala ($19.50) β€” think fresh prawns cooked in a delicious onion and tomato sauce. Burppler Darn also enjoyed the Aloo Gobi ($12.90) with "Cauliflower and potatoes cooked with all the right spices" of ginger, ground coriander and green chili.

~$12. Really liked this!! Cauliflower and potatoes cooked with all the right spices. Was a good portion size as well.

Googled for best butter chicken in Singapore and oh man they did not disappoint. Smoky chicken fully coated with that buttery sauce for maximum indulgence. Gobi Manchurian is a staple for my indian food craving as usual!
