Overall decent, even the char siew. I added the fried wantons. The stallholder quite scammy. I was the last customer for the day and she had run out of wantons, so she asked to use dumplings instead - but she wanted to charge extra! I was shocked and refused.

Pleasantly surprised by this bowl! Even though it's a touch saltier, I enjoyed how it leaned more to old school wanton noodles - tossed with crispy fried lard and not as saucy as the kinds we usually see. Charsiew was average but the portion of springy noodles was great, plus you get well seasoned wantons along with soup.

This bowl of wtm is unassuming and differs from those with charred flavours. Great for those who prefers their wtm simple, rather than those with roasty charsiew, and sauces with more body. The noodles here were quite springy and did not clump together. Chilli sauce was quite well-balanced with a distinct fragrance of lard. Crispy bits of fried lard were also added for the extra oomph. A small bowl costs you $3.5, but for $4.5, you get five boiled wantons that boasts smooth, thin skins. Charsiew slices were lean, but not dry. Grateful for this new addition to the coffeeshop below my house 😋
