It was refreshing but the portion could have been more, considering it was for two pax

we were taken trough four sets of tea and food pairings, where ureshino tea was paired with different food items to showcase its versatility. this version of pan-fried ureshino tea was served with lychees in it and rose syrup to be added into it. in the same course, the tea was also served on its own with japanese rice crackers as a pairing. purely the tea itself tasted like the coming together of mild bitter, grassy and salty notes. with lychees in the tea and rose syrup added into it, it gave the tea a fruity sweet finish. very interesting experience!
