4⭐ High tea affair with sis. We chose their high tea because there's 1 for 1 weekday high tea promotion until end of Nov for HSBC cardholder. This is a much better promo than the current 50% off for 2nd diner found on their website. There's only 1 seating on weekday 2pm - 5pm.
Every diner have a choice of 2 tea/ coffee served. We had Tiramisu black tea, Fruit Symphony tea, Calming Spirits tea and Apple Strudel with Pistachio tea. Avoid Apple Strudel with Pistachio tea as it doesn't taste good. The savoury food are better than the desserts and all are refillable. We particularly like the salmon macaron and quiche which we ordered again. My sis laments that the scones are not serve hot and she missed the scones we had at Fraser Hills 10 years ago which we agreed that it was the best scones which we ate. 😂

One of my favourite past time: AFTERNOON TEA. Especially when it’s bottomless tooooooo! Back @RegentSingapore where their popular afternoon tea has taken us on an English Garden journey. Was delighted to find the beautiful spread of garden theme desserts:
* Fragrant Yuzu Posset with Almond
* Banoffee in Shooter Glass
* British Rose Apple Profiteroles
* Shortbread Winter "Mushroom" Eton Mess
* Ultimate Triple Chocolate Fudge Tart
* Red Berries Victoria Sponge Cake
* Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake

On weekends, there’s an extravagant spread of local and western cuisine including English cheese and sushi selections that you’ll be hard-pressed where to start first.

Afternoon Tea Hours:
Monday to Friday
12:00pm to 5:00pm

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
1st seating: 12:00pm to 2:30pm
2nd seating: 3:00pm to 5:30pm

Weekdays: $47++ per pax. Quote when making a reservation to enjoy a second afternoon tea set at 50% off.
Weekends: $68++ per pax. Quote to enjoy a weekend tea buffet at just $58++

I am so excited to finally enjoy their afternoon tea in a contemporary colonial garden setting. This really feels like being a Tai Tai lifestyle haha. Haha the lovely meal before my confinement starts.
Featuring their Weekday Three-Tier Afternoon Tea Set - SPRING IN TOKYO (Until June 30) It is also semi buffet style with delish sandwiches accented with Japanese flavours and petite treats such as Smoked Matcha Tea Eclairs, Tangy Yuzu Madeleines, Fragrant Hojicha Almond Shortbread and Soy Milk Panna Cotta with Adzuki Red Bean Compote. It costs $45 per set

Yay! Food was so good, I cant show everything here but these are snippets.
Favourites are the teas (lapsang souchong is my fave!), seafood congee (took at least 3 bowls), the sliced beef, chef's special cherry tomatoes, assorted caviar, macarons and the cinderella pumpkin mousse! I am not a high tea person, but definitely this is not the last they'll see of me back here! 😊
Also, note to self: try the tea cocktails, esp the one that has lapsang souchong syrup as the base 😍

High tea with a different style.. selection was not much. But good enough to be full. The only only “insta” part was the hand crafted desserts which you don’t find them in other high tea buffets..

Do try it 😉

One of my favourite afternoon tea buffets to date (not that I have tried all that many), Regent Singapore Tea Lounge’s Weekend High Tea Buffet is a fairly indulgent affair at $55++ (U.P. $65++). Unlike their Weekday Three-Tier Afternoon Tea which features small sophisticated bites, the buffet offers quite a selection of hearty Western and Eastern delights with a touch of local flair. And though the spread seems deceptively small, the variety is pretty amazing.

Filling up my table like a ‘Kiasu’ Singaporean, my most-loved part of their recent line up was certainly their live Carving station where you can look forward to Miso-marinated Wild Salmon and Sake-infused Wagyu Beef Tataki. The butter scones and waffles were also fool-proof. However, if given the task to pick only one item to go for, dive straight for their congee and kick back on their luxuriously plush seats immersing in the contemporary colonial garden décor as you finish one bowl after another. A must-try, the stock of the Seafood Congee with Goji Berries held all the natural sweetness from the ingredients but the plump king prawns with fresh fish slices really took things up a notch. Slurps!
