I usually work once a week or so near the PV at Tiong Bahru and have fallen in love with their food and extensive bakery selection. This new location is close to two of the other studios I work in AND close to huzbo’s office, meaning we can now meet there for lunch dates! Today is the first time since his return that I have been able to meet him (I mean, he’s only been back at work since yesterday....he is suspicious it’s more the excitement to go to PV than to see him....which it totally isn’t....👀). I had a slice of artichoke, spinach and feta quiche (I asked the server to change the piece he’d given me for the end piece, such a 🐷 when it comes to pastry!). They have an option where you can then select one of their four salads as a meal deal. You don’t have to go for one either, you can have up to three salads on the side...or alternatively a plate of all four!! I had just the one and I was stuffed from midday right through til dinner which is unusual for me as I normally need a mid afternoon pick me up. The portions are so generous I can’t see anyone needing more!! I chose the couscous salad, with chickpeas, rocket, red onions, sundried tomatoes and more feta. Absolutely gorgeously delicious, I might just have a big plate of that next time instead! Im in the area again tomorrow...so am planning to drop by and continue my way through of their sweet treats.

This branch is newly opened a short walk from Telok Ayer and Downtown MRTs. It is one of the few lunch places I have come across that offers sandwiches! Hardly anywhere here does!? It’s like being back in the UK 😹 I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with capers, salad leaves and pickled onion slices and a GREEEN TEA LATTEEE as a #friyay treat 😸
