If you prefer a quiet neighbourhood hawker centre, this is one of it in Telok Blangah that hidden inside this, off from the main streets.

In the early morning, Kim Tian LV always attract the nearby residents queueing to buy its carrot cake.

From just $2.50, you could get a good plate of carrot cake. I couldn’t say it is good but old school enough.

This is from the corner stall that sells kueh as well.

I ordered chicken wing, luncheon meat, otah and egg ($4). Within the packet there’s also chilli, ikan bilis and peanuts with two slices of cucumber.

Overall it’s a competent plate of Nasi lemak, I like their chilli and chicken wing.

Got this packet for $3. Love that they packed the crispy beancurd sheet separately.

It’s a light and pretty decent tasting vegetarian beehoon. The stall is at the corner of the centre row.

Tasty black carrot cake, ordered the small packet ($2.50 + $0.50 for an extra egg)
Like it that they added chye poh into the dish

Teck Kee has few outlets around the city, with one hidden here at this quiet neighbourhood. For $3, you get a bowl of normal wanton noodles; which I like the texture of the noodle and their char siew was very juicy. Couldn’t say much about the wanton as I felt it doesn’t have much ingredients inside.

$5 contains fried and boiled wantons, char siew, soya chicken and added a little mushrooms. I prefer adding $1 for some kailan! Decent wanton mee, meat goes really well with their homemade chili sauce (mixed into the sauce)!
