Enjoy dining without burning a hole in your pocket, no membership required
A perfect example of how one doesn't always have to ask "what's good here" because so far, I haven't had a bad meal no matter how affordable the meal may be.
Had wanted to go for the established more than 100yo restaurants but our wallet was crying a bit, so we went into an unassuming chain. The quality is so much better than what we can get back home at the same price point. Of course it's not the best that you can find around here but so value-for-money! Good for a quick dinner/ tempura fix.
This came with plump black tiger prawn, crunchy lotus root, juicy mushroom, green bean and squid; batter was light, with fluffy Japanese rice and the flavorful sauce was addictively good with just the right balance of sweet and salty (an improved formula with lesser salt and the use of katsuo-dashi).
