Fish was crispy and not too oily. Udon was abit too sweet for me. tasted like yaki soba

We were looking for a stall without a long queue on lunchtime at Sunday and Tenderfresh caught our eye! At B1 of Northpoint, it has a pretty large seating area so we didn't have to wait too long for our turn. We got the three piece fried chicken as we heard that tenderfresh is famous for their chicken and indeed, it was really decent. The skin was fried and really crispy and there was a thin layer of fats underneath which we loved! The chicken meat was also pretty tender although the pieces that they gave us came with quite a lot of bones, so it took quite a lot of effort to finish our meal.

The sambal chilli wasn't really spicy and it was a mix of sweet and spiciness. A little strange for a sambal chilli paste and we might not add the chilli in future, as you have to pay an additional $1 for it. The meal cost $11.50 in all, which is decent given the three-piece chicken and the side dishes!

Sambal Salmon Cream Penne ($12.90) Salmon was grilled to perfection, skin has a crunchy texture which I like. The penne soaked up the spicy sambal infused cream sauce and every bite is a spicy kick. Good for those who like belachan infused spicy. Thought that the combination of cooling cream and fiery sambal chilli is an innovative idea. However, for people who prefer a milder taste and no spice, this may not be suitable.

Cabonara Turkey Bacon ($11.90) The amount of bacon pieces given is pathetic and the turkey bacon is meh tasting. This minimal dish is just spaghetti, bacon and cabonara sauce. On the bright side, though the cabonara sauce is given in ration size, it tasted decent.

Shoestring fries with mayonaise and cheese sauce ($4.90) The cheese sauce is ok but the mayonaise is a bit sweet which is weird imho. Prefer KFC.

Satay sauce was thick and nutty but it was sweet and somehow didnt have enough punch. Chicken chop was crispy and tender, if a little Thin. Bread wasnt crispy at all though, and too liberal with butter.
