Only tried it because of burpple one-for-one and was craving for ramen. It was the only one near me.

Didn’t disappoint! Soup was pretty robust, but slightly too thick for my liking! Would have liked it more if it was more watered down. But it was still a pretty good soup overall, just that I was a tad little thirsty after the meal!

The chashu was tender and decently well-marinated. Also, appreciated that there were bamboo shoots and corns - they really added a crunch to the ramen.

Ramen was well-done, had a bite to it just the way I like it. Overall would recommend if you’re around the area to satisfy that ramen itch.

Small little joint at raffles city serves us amazing quality tendon! Comes with prawns, long beans, mushroom, seaweed, pumpkin, bacon, all the goodness in one bowl!

Quite a sizable piece of unagi and other tempura for that price! The unagi was pretty fresh, the prawn tempura was average, seaweed tempura was nicely crispy and the portion of rice given was just nice. There was this chicken cheeseball tempura inside also and it was so heavenly. Decent tempura bowl for its price, but not the best.

Despite having rebranded itself as a tendon place, I find their ramen more outstanding. And it’s definitely improved since the last time I was here! The tonkotsu ramen ($12.80++) has a thick flavourful broth, whilst the spicy tonkotsu ramen ($13.80++) sure packs a punch. The noodles are thinner than usual and were served with one slice of meat and bamboo shoots. Interestingly, the spicy version came with minced meat in a spicy paste. The burpple beyond deal here is a rather limited as you only have 4 ramen options to choose from. It also enforces that you order an iced green tea ($2++), but the drink leaves much to be desired as it was very thin and lacking in taste.

Added on a bowl of char shu rice ($6++). It was markedly different from the previous time we tried it - the sauce was very salty and had the taste of pickled vegetables. The meat was similarly cubed pieces, more reminiscent of lu rou fan than char shu.

Meat was juicy, broth was thick, noodles were springy! Esp. love the spicy ramen as it gave a good kick. Total = ~$19 after using 1 for 1 BB.

Deal could be extended to tendons or more varieties of ramen. Currently, the BB is only applicable for 4 ramens.
