The Bak Chor Mee ($3) from Teochew St. Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle at Chinatown Complex Food Centre (#02-023) is a pretty decent bowl of BCM - the noodles are springy, the fish balls and meat balls are fresh and delicious and the chilli is fragrant. The $3 portion is quite small though - will definitely go for the $4 option when I return😅

Pretty decent bowl of Mee Pok apparently. Love how their chili doesn't numb to the extent where it covers off the various savoury flavours, though those who love vinegar in their Bak Chor Mee might find it lacking in that aspect. The noodles are easy to seperate, and does not carry any alkaline flavour. Soup was pretty flavourful and loved the fact that it came with three different type of balls; pork ball, a regular fishball and one that seemed to be made in-house. If anything, I would have preferred that they include pork lard instead of just relying on the sole fish which is typical of Teochew Bak Chor Mee, which was way more saltier somehow.

This came recommended but was a very mediocre bowl of bcm. Only element light years away was the third ball in that soup, which seemed like a type of fishball but less firm and tastier. Shiitake mushrooms had a strange green-blue tint to them.
