When Teppei provides free lunch cluster delivery service to my hood, of course place order
Delivery slot was between 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Received order just after 1pm. Not bad considering it was pouring heavily when the order arrived.

Crab with Mentaiko Mayo Kaisendon (S$19.80+)
Served with soyu and freshly grated wasabi packed separately. Can’t really taste mentaiko.

Man Man Unagi Bento (S$34+)
Most expensive yet smallest in package. Sauce packed separately. Wish there’s freshly grated wasabi too.

Teriyaki Chicken & King Prawn Bento (S$18+)
Looked most attractive.

Chicken Katsu Curry Udon (S$14+) ..
The udon fared the worst ‘cos the noodles was lumped together.

Was super excited to place our orders when we saw that Teppei is doing free delivery runs to various neighbourhoods on different days! There are no additional delivery charges nor minimum orders required, except a small variable booking fee - ours was $1.68 for 3 bowls. Each delivery slot lasts about 2 hours, with lunch between 11.30am to 1.30pm and dinner between 5.30pm to 7.30pm. The exact timing depends on their final delivery route.

The sashimi came fresh and in generous chunks with fresh wasabi on the side. Was a satisfying lunch. More details up on Teppei’s Facebook page!

Nope, that’s not beer, that’s roasted barley tea. I received a lot of queries if that’s beer haha but I am heading back to work right after, I cannot afford that. This don is decent and so worth it, rice slightly mushy but I heard that it is not always like this. DIY freshly grated wasabi

this was the lobster sashimi, scallop & tuna chutoro (if i remember correctly). all three were fresh with a natural sweetness. the lobster was especially succulent. ✨

this was the main course of the dinner omakase ✨ fried rice had a deep smoky flavour with a generous portion of fresh uni & roe.

overall, this was a really amazing & special dining experience ☺️ the ingredients are all really fresh & premium (especially the seafood — fresh from japan!). there are many courses with a good variety of ingredients and cooking styles, all executed with close attention to detail. definitely worth it. 💫

This fresh tasting marinated sashimi cubes over flavoured sushi rice really is the best value Kaisen Don one can get. Served with a miso soup, it also comes with free flow sides of carrot/radish and salmon stew.

There are many versions of this dish in the market, but over here at where it all started still taste the best!
