As you are being ushered to your seat and with a glass of Bourgogne Blanc white wine on hand, you are ready to embark on a dining experience, inspired from the Southwest of France. The meal starts off with a canapé and in this occasion, we were treated to a lamb and cumin on toast which was delightful as the spices help mask away any form of gaminess. Moving on to the starter of a Salmon Sphere, a testament of the kitchen’s hard work to shape the mixture of salmon, avocado, apple, lime and fresh dill, served with a consommé of dill and cucumber, and crispy carrot salad.

Prior to the main course, we were served a Chicken and Brown Rice Velouté with Fresh Herbs (pictured), a unanimous favourite among us as the contrast of textures and flavours from the velvety savoury sauce and chicken brown rice blend is such a wonderful combination. This soup is definitely worthy to be coined, the chicken soup for the soul.

The main course is an Oven-baked Minced Pork with Herbs and Vegetables that’s shaped in a mille-feuille, plated masterfully with balsamic vinegar and yellow capsicum coulis. This course is also highly raved among several of us for its play on textures and balance of flavours. To cap off the evening, Chef Justin Quek will serve a dessert and in this instance, it’s the Snow White with Red Berries. This plate is constructed with a meringue that melts in your mouth, complemented with seasonal berries and chocolate sauce. With that, the journey comes to an end as you look forward to the following month’s new menu.

It's so difficult to decide which is my fav but I guess it goes to this, "Salmon Sphere with Dill & Cucumber Gelee Consomme, Crispy Carrot Salad"

No fancy decorations, @terrier.by.jq keep it white, simple and clean. It's spacious, relaxed and comfortable ambience for dining.

Southwest French Cuisine, Chef Justin uses alot of seasonal fresh produce with menu changes every month. Dishes are creative, beautifully plated, appetizing and flavourful.
