Here’s the 5-piece 555 Tom Yum Oat Chicken Bundle from Texas Chicken that includes:

~5 pieces of 555 Tom Yum Oat Chicken
~1 box of Tom Yum Popcorn Chicken
~1 large mashed potato
~2 honey butter biscuits
~2 regular Cha-Ha-Ha Thai Milk Teas

I liked that each piece of the 555 Tom Yum Oat Chicken was crispy and nicely coated with tangy tom yum oat crumbs. But I thought the tom yum flavour could have been more pronounced. Same goes for the popcorn chicken, the seasoning falls slightly short of the punch I was hoping for. But don’t get me wrong, both were still pretty enjoyable overall! The Thai milk tea was a good drink complement for the chicken, as it was refreshing and not cloyingly sweet.

These will be available for a limited-time period only.

Texas Chicken has brought its highly-raved REAL Salted Egg Chicken menu back for a limited time period only from now till 8 September 2021. The menu features the legendary Salted Egg Chicken, along with Honey Butter Biscuit and Sjora Mango Peach.

I rather enjoyed their Salted Egg Chicken – the salted egg taste was legit, and did not taste artificial! It was generously coated on the crispy chicken skin, which made it so addictive!

Texas put my previous review for this item in their latest promo video so I figured I should review it properly. This round was definitely more impressive than that time. Apart from the trademark juiciness Texas guarantees, how they always beat KFC is they make a X chicken, not a X-flavoured or X-coated chicken. This item was marinated with salted egg, then topped with salted egg, so it's legit. Not to mention in a market flooded with salted egg theirs actually tasted like good salted egg.
