The food:
Tastes like how it looks. Fish sauce which was thin and citrus and had no body, with no body. W instant noodles, the pork collar was tender but not crispy and not well marinated. Plus it's really really spicy, I alr asked for less heat but there's still a lot of birds eye

The service:
It's really terrible. They're all crowded near the counter playing their phones, I'm not sure why I'm paying service charge. Can't answer phone calls too lol

We ordered Yum Salmon ($24.90), which is a tangy and spicy raw salmon salad. This is my go-to appetiser whenever I am here.

You can’t go wrong with fried instant noodles and the Fried Mama Basil Scrambled Egg with Crispy Pork ($19.90) turned out as tasty as I imagined it to be, though it’s leaning on the salty side. The scrambled egg is super creamy and fluffy - love it! However, the roast pork is a little disappointing as it is quite dry. Still enjoyed this nonetheless!

Tha Chang Noodle Bar has relocated from Golden Mile Complex to a modern setup at Telok Ayer. As the name suggests, you cannot miss out on either their Special Beef Boat Noodle or Special Pork Boat Noodle, which I prefer the former for its robust and beefy flavour. Available in a non spicy version, spice heads can also opt for the spicy version which elevated the flavour a notch. There is also an upsized version that’s good for 2 pax and served in a hotpot.

Besides their signature boat noodle, they have a variety of salads, sides and rice dishes. However, they aren’t as good as the noodle options which I will suggest you give them a skip if you have limited stomach space.

It’s legit Thai boat noodle, we can choose type of noodle, from Thai noodle till bee Hoon.
Served with herbal soup with option spicy or not spicy (but little boss said not spicy is actually still quite spicy for me ),meatballs and sliced pork
The moo ping also nice, outer light crisp while inside juicy n tender.

Sadly, the Salted Lava Egg Crab Fried Rice ($15.90) was on the disappointing end of the stick. I’m not sure if it was because of how epic this looked, but the taste was rather underwhelming~ It wasn’t as flavourful and aromatic as I imagined it to be, and there wasn’t much wok-hey.
