I bought Mochi bun black sesame ($3.5), Mochi bun peanut ($3.5),sweet potato ($2.2) and bacon egg mayo for little boss ($2.2).
Love the bread texture, soft and filled with quite generous filling.

I have heard about @thaibaang bakery since a few years ago, and have walked past it countless times. But either i already had bread for the next day, or i didnt feel like eating bread for the next day, or i was slightly turned off by the high prices of the bread.

Was walking past the bakery a few days ago again and decided now was the time to try it! I have always been very intrigued by the way they display the bread. The bread are still in their bread tin for display before sale! I love how the bread was still warm! Very soft and pillowy fluffy bread!

Tried the yam bread, curry bread and curry puff. I must say the bread were really good and fluffy! It is around $2.20 per bread (which is single individual portion).

May buy again if im in the area since there are many other flavours to try! They have pretty interesting flavours like thai tea and sweet potato too!

This may sound like an odd combination, but it works! The yam paste wasn't too sweet and retains a light yam fragrance that complements the savoury floss. Mochi adds a nice chewy texture as well. I haven't been a big fan of mochi buns, but this has been the most acceptable for me so far. That said, would have liked a variation of yam and pork floss without the mochi 😬

One of the lighter , better and less sweet banana sponge cakes with a real banana flavour.

Slightly expensive so eat in moderation.

I found my favourite mochi bread 💗 pretty affordable too! 2 big buns for $2ish👍 located conveniently near lavender mrt 🌸 I love the soft fluffy bread with light rice mochi and rice grainy natural goma 💯

Highly recommend their Tom yum chicken too! 🐓 so delicious! If you like savory bread - this is a must! 💯 I can have like 2-3 of them🥰 so satisfying!
