[NEW🎉] Affordable thai food in the heart of town under $10✨

Despite only two months old, the eatery was already seeing a sizeable crowd at the time of our visit. Prices here are nett and reasonable! 🇹🇭

For our beef boat noodles, we chose to pair it with the base of rice noodles (also comes with option of vermicelli, bee hoon or mama noodles). The spicy noodles came with a rich and flavourful broth. We ordered the beef version that contained meatballs and strips. The authentic dark broth has a peppery taste and is also available with pork or duck variations. We got the normal spice level, but you can also request to customise your spiciness. Would recommend trying this! 🐄🔥

Overall, we found ourselves to be in treat of a wide variety of dishes from authentic boat noodles to interesting fusion dishes at affordable prices and convenient location in town.

Psst, with purchase of any mains, you get to enjoy milk tea for only $2 💸

The popular meat skewer is a dish we can't miss out when eating Thai food. These juicy ones were tossed in savoury-sweet marinade before skewering and grilling. Appreciated that this didn't have a gamey taste 😩

We also tried the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 ($𝟭𝟬.𝟵𝟬), which is one of the more expensive items on the menu. For the price, you're really getting a generous amount of seafood. It came with mussels, prawns, fish, squid and long beans. Personally, I like tom yum > green curry in general so I'd stick to the former.

Sprinkled with crispy yellow mung bean toppings, we ended our meal with the mango sticky rice 🥭

We also tried their 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝘆 ($𝟰.𝟵𝟬) dessert and some beverages, including their recommended 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 ($𝟰.𝟵𝟬) that comes in quite a big portion 🥥

With the purchase of every main, you are entitled to $2 purchase of their milk tea. Unless you are a sugar addict, remember to ask for a less sugar option!

The crispy omelette here is usually served with rice. However, we requested for just the omelette since we already had our plates full with the other dishes! 🤭

There's also the option of minced meat omelette rice ($9.90).

We skipped straight to mains and desserts here so can't vouch for their starters. However, we did spy some massive portions of mango salad served to our neighbouring tables 🕵️

[NEWLY OPEN] Any Thai food lovers? 🇹🇭💕

Came across the interesting fusion dishes here and we were certainly intrigued. Was deliberating between this or the green curry fish burger ($9.90). Yes, you heard that right!

Settled for the tom yum burger in the end since we were already getting green curry as a main to try. The tom yum burger had the characteristic sour and mild spicy notes. Wished I tried the green curry creation too. If you're looking for thai-western fusion dishes, you might also wanna consider the spaghetti ($9.90) that comes with the option of either tom yum, basil or green curry.

Located at Gr.ID (former PoMo), this thai eatery has a range of authentic and fusion dishes. The dishes are mostly priced under $10.

We ordered their pad thai prawn (with 4 juicy prawns). The rendition here has strong flavours and we found the savoury-sweetness of the dish a perfect match for the spicy boat noodles that we also got to share! 🦐

You can also choose to get the chicken variation of the pad thai for the same price.
