$39++ for two exclude drinks. This includes fried kangkung, sweet n sour fish, chicken wings, seafood tomyum, red ruby dessert and rice. I personally loves the tomyum they served but not the ruby. #burpple #欣祥2015 #gratefulxin #happyxin

In partnership with Deliveroo, Burpple's 6-week campaign #BYDTB offers exciting promo set menus each week and this week we are going Sawadeeka! Seriously, what better way to start the week than with some fiery tom yum soup, mango salad, and all that yummy Thai food?

My first experience with Deliveroo was seamless, from the ordering process to the point of delivery. I had no problems ordering via the app (web also available), and was able to track my order status and its estimated arrival time. They even texted to inform that the delivery will be delayed due to the sudden downpour. No #hangry moments for me when I was assured every step of the way!

Thai Express has always held a special place in my heart. It was where I had my first Pad Thai ($13.80) and many after. This time, I'd ordered the Fish Tom Yum Soup ($9.50) and Thai Seafood Otah ($8.45) too, and was impressed by how everything remained consistently flavourful AND warm. Here's the best part: Just for this week (18-24 July), participating restaurants are offering set menus going at just $25 for 2 pax and $45 for 4 pax. Don't say never share; your power lunch awaits you on Deliveroo!

Opt of glass noodle instead of the stick noodle. I was expecting red base thai yum soup but to my surprise it was served clear base and I am not complaining.

Dessert for the day. Glutinous rice serve warm drizzling with fragrant coconut milk I only hope the mango serving is more generous.

Deep fried chicken wings sprinkled with crispy, fragrant basil leaves, fried garlic flakes & dried chilli. The wings were slightly on the saltier side but very addictive. Will go very well with a bottle of Singha Beer!

We had the first dip for lunch at ThaiExpress where they introduced 4 new dishes to celebrate the annual Thai Songkran festival. Featuring the Thai-Style Papaya Salad, Salted Egg Calamari, and Songkran Chicken Wings. The other popular Songkran dish not featured here is the Stir-Fried Phuket Bee Hoon with Tiger Prawns.

Stand a chance to win a luxurious trip for two to Thailand (lucky draw on 1st April) with a minimum spend of $50 and bring home a free mini water pistol. The Songkran menu is available till 19th April 2015.
