🦀A seafood lover’s burger with pretty strong seafoody taste (from the mentaiko and fish roe bits). The soft shell crab was fried to a nice crispy touch and sandwiches between brioche buns slathered with a good amount of mentaiko sauce. The pillowy buns nicely complemented the crispy soft shell crab in terms of texture and...taste too! Cos the crab, when eaten on its own, was a tad too salty - according to the boyfriend. The thick cut fries could have been crispier, or replaced with potato cuts. It was a lil’ soggy for most but then again I guess the highlight and deal here’s the soft shell crab and buns, instead of the fries right?

“Get this if you’re a cheese lover!” recommends the waitress. And so I did! Verdict: hmms...the additional cheese portion comes with a bowl of cheese which you can dip your burger and fries (nacho cheese fries!) - a pretty good deal if you like nacho cheese. Personally, I prefer the melty cheeses in burgers, not the more liquidy version of nacho cheese (never a fan of nachos). I’d expected melty cheddar but it wasn’t! 😔 nevertheless, the nacho cheese dip served me well - I dunked my fries into it and it was a good portion for 2 servings of fries! The charcoal bun added an aesthetic touch to the burger but it was a lil’ more stiff than their brioche. Beef patty was cooked to a nice medium, with bacon well done & cheese nicely melted. A very, very sinful meal and a pretty good deal with no service charge and gst!

$25 // there are those days when you consume a meal that is probably equivalent to your weekly calorie intake, and today is one of them. this dish was superrrrr sinful and rich, but also very yumz!! a generous chunk of battered soft-shell crab as the patty, drenched in mentaiko sauce, topped with ikura (which gave nice pops of fish roe oil(?) with each bite, good texture!!), a slice of melted cheese and sandwiched between 2 fluffy, toasted hamburger buns!!! SO much carbs, but thankfully there was a single piece of lettuce to let me feel like i was being healthy uh (jkjk it didn’t, but have this dish anyway, it was great and u deserve a treat once in awhile!!)

this restaurant is quite a hidden gem, as it is situated in a corner of south beach tower within one of their blocks, but very chilled out ambience once you enter and the service staff were prompt and efficient, which made my experience here a fond one :-)

The hangover burger ($22) fared much better! A single wagyu patty was accompanied by a crispy hash brown drizzled with maple syrup, a fried egg, sautéed mushrooms and the usual cheese, lettuce and tomato. The beef patty was similarly below expectations, but the variety of flavours and textures more than made up for it. Interestingly, there was a dash of hot sauce in the burger!

The Armoury Burger ($23) comprises of two wagyu patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato. The bacon added a dash of savouriness but the beef was a tad dry, with a flavour that was not distinct. The sauce tasted like thousand island! The bun was pretty dense but well buttered, and the fries sprinkled with paprika. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype of being a namesake burger.

meal was super super worth it burger was a big portion and patty was also v juicy. bun was slightly hard but overall a rly impressive deal and meal would come again
