The laksa pasta was flavourful, on the other hand the miso pasta was slightly lacking in flavour in my opinion but my friend liked it. But price point was worth it!

3.5⭐ Brunch on a Sunday. Chose Assembly Ground since there's 1 for 1 Burpple deal. I had the assembly brunch while WB had the chicken and waffle. The portion is huge and I didn't finished the food. Love the brochie and scrambled egg which is on point. Bacon and sausage are on the saltier side and mushroom is slightly dry. WB is disappointed with the chicken as it's mediocre. He would rather eat Chic A Boo.

Weekend brunch at The Assembly Ground (an egg lover’s dream come true!!) 🍳✨

Starting with this hearty brunch platter, we had kurobuta sausage, Norwegian smoked salmon, sautéed trio mushrooms, scrambled eggs, roasted cherry tomatoes 🍅 and brioche toast.

If you’re not a fan of salmon, you can also switch that for smoked streaky bacon 🥓

We tried the buttermilk fried chicken with charcoal waffle 🖤 This came with salted egg yolk sauce which was interesting, though I can’t say I’m a huge fan of it.

Alternatively, opt for the chargrilled Australian wagyu steak ($26) 🥩 Comes with asparagus, sunny side-up and potato gratin.

A crowd favourite, this eggs benedict rosti is served alongside honey-baked ham and smoked streaky bacon. Despite the rosti being thicker than usual, it still had a nice crispy edge 🍳
