Very much enjoyed our experience at awadh. Briyani was absolutely fragrant, while the butter chicken was very creamy and bursting with flavour.

I liked how the garlic naan was thin and crispy, and didnt taste too doughy.

But staff can engage in some hard sell. So just arm yourselves

We used the 1-for-1 burpple beyond which we could choose from the Veg Mains, Non-Veg Mains and Lentil. It was quite a decent selection and we ordered Gosht Nihari (mutton curry) + Kofta-E-Gulnaar (potato and cottage cheese dumpling with mild cream gravy) + garlic butter naan. The former was stronger in taste while the latter was rather mild. As described in the menu, the latter goes best with garlic butter naan, and they were absolutely right!

Came at a quiet time with not many people and the staff was able to attend to us quickly and efficiently. The food was served quite quickly too. Seems like each order also comes with complimentary welcome drinks (fruit punch) and papadum with yogurt dip, which was a nice surprise. The yogurt dip was excellent in taste.

Overall atmospher was chill and quiet with some background music, making it easy to chat with people around you.

Total bill was $34++ which was slightly pricey but worth the experience.

The atmosphere and service here was really good. Upon being seated, they served us mango lassi, together with papadums! Even had a small cleaning bowl to wash our hands.

Had the lamb briyani and butter chicken. Both were really good! The lamb briyani was very tender and melt in your mouth texture. Butter chicken was flavourful too, chicken meat was amazing.

Slow cooker mutton in red and yellow lentils. All their dishes are unique including this one. It has the nutrition of mutton and lentils and so yummy!! I had it with their signature magaj naan.

Very authentic and unique preparation of chicken in Lucknow style. Chicken is cooked in a fiery masala gravy including onions, garlic, ginger and chilies. It has nice sweetness to balance the spices.

This is an absolutely rare gem. Speciality Awadhi food with exclusive dishes on the menu. Magaj naan is made of fermented dough with magaj (dried melon seeds sprinkled on it). It's rich and absolutely delicious. Must try this bread of you are in this restaurant.
