Cornbread. Bacon. Country fried steak. Pimento cheese. Thatโ€™s true blue home-cooked Southern comfort food for you. Buttermilk fried chicken served on top of a crispy waffle drizzled with a bourbon maple butter sauce. It's food that warms your soul and puts a smile on your face. Presenting... The Beast - Southern Kitchen & Bourbon Bar. A slice of the dirty south in Singapore. You can almost imagine yourself sitting on your porch swing, glass of Sweet Tea in hand, with cosy interior elements such as our rusted oil drums, farm house lighting, and salvaged wood countertops making you feel right at home. The bar boasts one of the largest variety of bourbons in the country, and has an extensive selection of American craft beers, and bourbon and rye specialty cocktails. Paying homage to the Southern tradition of moonshining, we make our own Southern comfort and have a barrel-aging program showcasing a rotating selection of classic cocktails. The Beast. A place to gather with friends, sip on some bourbon, and be treated to some classic southern cooking and hospitality. So c'mon down, y'all!

really loved this dish! flavourful and filling!
pork was nicely cooked; sauce was delectable; mash potato was awesome. 10/10 would recommend. price was alittle on the high side, but worth it with burpple 1-for-1

staff was overly friendly ๐Ÿ˜‚ and they dont accept nets

Good 1-1 deal with burpple beyond, food is great, quality has been really consistent!

I was beguiled here by the establishment's whimsical introduction on Burpple, which promised Southern hospitality and plates of southern picks like buttermilk chicken & waffles, Cajun fries, country fried steak, and sweet tea.

The interior was casual but atmospheric, and we were sat at a table on top of a beer keg. I really enjoyed the song choices too, which was full of energetic bluesy picks. Unfortunately, our long-eyelashed, manicured server seemed to have a penchant for keeping straight-faced and refraining from supplying us with pleases and thank-yous.

Luckily, the food was quite enjoyable and I really recommend it with the Burpple Beyond deal.

The Southern fried chicken was well fried and crispy all over while remaining juicy and tender inside. The skin was soaked in a 24h brine, so it was tasty and marinated well enough to eat without any dip. Nonetheless, the chicken is served with country gravy (a little watery) and southern slaw (very creamy).

The farm boy burger had a thick patty which I got at medium doneness, and was reasonably juicy and held together well too. Sadly, the fries were quite mediocre because they were too thin and the seasoning wasn't very inspiring. I prefer Popeye's Cajun fries much more.

Also, there are happy hour deals for items like a highball or bottled beer for $7, so that's another reason to go and savour the Southern comfort food here!

Came to this place with high expectations after reading about the reviews on the chicken and waffles. It was quite disappointing. Chicken skin was thick and soggy. Waffles was oily and bland. Other dishes that we ordered were quite meh too and even the macaroni and cheese lack sauce/creaminess to it. The best dish was probably the pulled pork tacos....
