Imagine biting into pieces of beef cubes which is so soft that it melts into your mouth. The gravy was so well made as not too overly spicy and contains beef essence which when dipped with the beef becomes whole.

I was delighted upon realising that a simple dish containing of noodles, black fungus and cabbage could actually taste so good. I like how all the ingredients were well marinated and you could taste the gravy in the vegetables. Complement it with their signature chilli sauce for a more flavourful touch!

The durian puree was thick and creamy but it could have been a little more fragrant. The chendol was rather icy as well. Still prefer tingkat peramakan's version even though this is definitely a solid rendition

Well charred but unfortunately very slightly dry(I'm just gonna blame it on the nature of the booths). Really rich sauce that's quite nostalgic but can't really remember where I've had it. Definitely delectable though!

Do you dig durian like me? If so, you may go gaga over the delectable durian chendol at Blue Ginger. This toothsome treat comes with its own side dish of durian pengat which can be dripped in generous dollops on top of your chendol. Over and over again.

First try of blue ginger so ordered a few signature dish, including otak otak, beef randang, ayam pangang etc. food were served pretty quickly within 5-10mins after we ordered. Like the ayam pangang which is strong in coconut milk taste. The portion isnt huge so we ordere Issan masak assam gulai but this dish wasnt great as the fish comes with very strong fishy taste.
However, we're more impressed by the dessert, especially the durian chendol. 4 of us eventually shared 3 because it just mixed pretty well. Not bad as a first try for the food and good service.
