Not only does this look as pretty as a picture -- the pancakes really came through! I enjoyed the fluffy texture of the pillowy stacks so much that I only realised I forgot to add maple syrup towards the end of devouring this dish.

On top of the delectable pancakes, the vanilla-forward whipped cream on top complemented the light pancakes so well. I'm not usually a sweet tooth but this is a must-order here!

I also ordered a chai latte ($7) πŸ§‹ but it tasted a bit dilute while the clove and cardamom spices were too overpowering.

I didn't order the hummus and pita ($8, undepicted) πŸ₯™ for myself, but it was quite a letdown in my opinion. The (presumably housemade) hummus was dry, gritty and under-seasoned, and the pita didn't taste particularly fresh.

This pasta dish includes fresh pesto and was reasonably light though the pasta did leave streaks of olive oil after consumption. The earthy notes of the mushrooms and alfalfa was tempered by the crunchy pine nuts. I think I'm gonna add pine nuts into my dry pasta dishes from now onwards.

I usually avoid cream based pastas because they tend to get jelak. But I decided to give it a try because I saw many reviews recommending it and it turned out really yummy! The pasta was cooked dente and the clams were really fresh. The seating area on the third floor is more cosy compared to their ground floor’s. 6/10

Cod en Papillote ($33+): Using a premium cut 🌟, the cod fillet is baked in a paper bag 🐟 with fennel, seasonal greens (e.g. carrots πŸ₯•, asparagus & tomato πŸ…), herbs, microgreens 🌿, & soy broth to keep the fish tender & moist.Β πŸ˜‹
The mouthfeel of this fresh chunk of meat was indeed nice - flaky with a slight melty texture. πŸ’― The taste of dill is pretty intense though!
