[CLOSED] The Butchers Club Burger

109 Wishlisted
~$40/pax
* This place has closed :( Please try somewhere else. * The famous Butchers Club Burger, which has been satisfying customers in both Hong Kong and Bali and has been awarded multiple accolades including ‘best burger’ by Time Out and Bloomberg, is now in Singapore! Not only are its juicy bacon cheeseburgers made using the house's signature dry-aged Black Angus beef from Australia, but the patties are also minced to order in front of the customer, before being thrown back to the kitchen and grilled to a perfect medium! The concept came about through The Butchers Club’s desire to practise nose-to-tail butchery. After the primary cuts of beef have been used for the brand’s signature dry-aged steaks, gorgeous secondary cuts of rump, chuck and brisket are first dry-aged and then ground in the restaurant and sprinkled with our secret seasoning blend. The menu is limited to one choice of burger, beer and bourbon – although there is also a secret menu, for those in the know that offers a small selection of alternative burgers that change regularly. A burger at The Butchers Club Burger is like nothing you have ever tasted.

Think dry aged beef that are full of flavour and grilled to the perfect medium rare. Every mouthful an explosion of beefy wonderland working it's magic with the melted cheese. The seafood option cpt Ahab with its new Zealand ling fish did not fare so well and was bit dry. They offer fries fried with duck fat did nothing to enhance the taste and did not justify the premium. As said in ther menu: 160g dry-aged beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, maple-glazed bacon, easy fried egg, crispy hash brown, smothered in maple hollandaise, between french toast buns.

Crazy indulgent!! As you can see, this burger is packed with all the possible breakfast elements that they can fit, and it all goes well together. My fave part are the buns! The touch of sweetness is a good balance to all the other savory ingredients. I had this for dinner, but I imagine that it's best to have it for breakfast. Will probably keep you full for half the day ahead. Comes with a choice of salad or fries. This on the Entertainer 2016, I noticed that it's not in their list of 2017 merchants, so better try this before the year ends.

Nice cosy ambience at this burger joint with its premium offering of dry aged beef burgers. Beef are dry aged a minimum of 30days infusing them with an explosion of beefy flavours. The patties is done medium rare and every bite cause juices to drip down. A great host of ingredients accompanied the patty to bring you a myriad of textures and flavours. The best of which is the overflowing blanket of melted cheddar. For in depth review check out

Instead of using two halves of the usual burger bun, the good people at The Butchers Club squish and pan-fry a grilled cheese sammie for each end. The thick dry aged beef patty may seem underseasoned if tasted on its own, but once wolfed down together with the sweet and salty maple-glazed bacon, caramelised onions, mayo and double American cheese (in addition to the cheese in between both grilled cheese rolls), you'll appreciate the chef's restraint in the salt department. While it's filled with some of my favourite things in the world, it's probably best to share this artery-clogging number with someone else (though the burger monster boyfriend thinks otherwise).

The triple fried spuds were nothing to write home about – fluffy in the middle with crisp edges – but I'm not sure I'd be willing to fork out an additional $8 for a few pieces of wedges again.
While this may not be the cheapest combo, it can easily satiate two tummies, with ample space for dessert after (like Tsujiri's matcha soft serve or Dulcet & Studio's puffs maybe 😁).
