🥩 AUS 250g, triple cooked chips & bearnaise.

A tad salty, not mind-blowing.
*
Brunch was slightly disappointing. If you're intending to visit, Dinner may be a better idea at TBW with cocktails and favorable lighting.
*
Will try the desserts if I ever pop by again.

🍝 8 hours braised ossobuco ragu & candied walnuts.

Pappardelle is a broad, flat pasta. The name derives from the verb "pappare" which means to gobble up.
*
The stew was rich with intense flavors, but it got boring after 3 bites and I didn't enjoy the clumped texture of the pasta.

If you're at brunch, I'd suggest going for their poached eggs & house cured salmon on sweet potato rosti instead.

One of the most disappointing french toast, ever. Did not like how thin the bread is or the lack of flavors and decadence. Seriously, what is french toast when the toast isn’t thick and fluffy or drenched in some sort of maple/honey. So underwhelmed, doubt it could have been salvaged by a scoop of ice cream.

Beyond impressed at the crispy pork ears (first pic) and truly enjoyed the hearty dishes that followed!

Made a 6pm reservation here intending to order one of the salads & the chestnut parpadelle ossobuco ragu. Mind you, this was a 6pm indulgence and I still had dinner at home with the kids at 8pm 😂But when I walked in, I noticed the Happy Hour promotion of Crispy Pig’s Ears with 2 cocktails ($25). You choose your first cocktail from a list of 7 and the second cocktail is chosen by the bartender. The fruity cocktails go very well with the crispy pig’s ears, which are served with sriracha mayonnaise, pickled kohlrabi and piquillo peppers. You layer everything onto baby gem lettuce leaves and enjoy this with your hands. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to use your hands, but it tastes better that way! Will be back.

The grilled octopus is carefully placed ingredients including celeriac foam, capers, tuna mayo & seeds’ (pumpkin and pine nuts) salsa verde marinated with bay leaf and garlic. Slices of octopus are tender, springy but not chewy with various textures and flavours.
