I was really blown away by the scenic view of the lush greenery right in front of me, because the golf course was relatively serene and calming. But most importantly, people who drive should come down to The Canopy at least once for the view and the breeze.

The restaurant served quite a variety of cuisines, but I was adventurous enough to ditch their local delights menu for a Teishoku set. The Gyuniku Shougayaki was affordably priced at S$17.90, and comprised a number of items, including Chawanmushi, salad, two appetiser side dishes, soup, rice and the plate of beef. The star of the show was very thinly sliced, and thus when paired with the rice, it actually was easy to chew and swallow. If only the sauce had not emphasised so much of Teriyaki sauce and perhaps paid more attention to make it a bit more gingerly, I could have said that this would be the main reason why I would return next time for more.

Since I was already here, why not just spend a few more moments to sip a bowl of their Iced Cheng Teng too? That dessert was not too sweet, and definitely not easily forgettable.

Best hidden jem with a great view and reasonably priced food. Tasty JB Chao tar bee hoon for $9

With a weather so hot and trying , what better than to quench your thirst with a good bowl of Ching Teng filed with plump sweet potatoes, fresh ginkgo nuts , melva nut ( Pang dai hai) and QQ sago balls.

This cafe is known by its regulars for its Cheng Teng and kampung fried rice / fried mee / mee goreng .

Pretty magnificent view of the golf course and the skyline of The CBD at almost food Court prices.

Service is attentive and brisk too 🤗

Besides the alluring view at this breezy cafe, the food here is also pretty good.

The chef’s recommended Hokkien Mee is so packed with good prawn flavour and yes ! Only fresh prawns are used ( not the frozen crystal type prawns). The Sotong was also very fresh and had a good bite.

The homemade sambal chilli went so well with the Prawn mee that I couldn’t resist asking for more 😊

3rd review! Def one of my fav casual cafes to dine at. It doesn't matter if you are playing golf or not, very casual vibe.

Will i return/recommend: Yes/Yes

Pros: Awesome view, parking is free! There is no a/c but super windy. Relaxing al-fresco seating. Closes pretty late at 11pm, good place to have catch-up sessions. Food is generally quite well done, reasonably priced too. I really love the Johore fried bee hoon! Always ask for it to be more crispy & charred.

Cons: Only al-fresco seating, but sheltered. Rain will splash in. Indoor seating is the tapas bar area. I realise when it is night-time say 9pm onwards, they always sell out of juice, desserts etc...quite annoying.

Price: S$29.10 for JB fried beehoon (always a must-order!), tom yum fried rice, salt&pepper squid chunks

Beautiful views and SG's skyline! Very relaxing ambience. See previous posting for in-depth review.
