Both pastas were very good!!! It's $12 each
Liked the carbonara especially as the sauce was not to heavy, the egg is also a nice addition

A no-brainer, laid back place for decent western food in the West.
The risotto and pasta were great but most importantly, I had a great companion who was there to hear me out.

Some fishiness in the house with this salmon steak that sits on top of a bed of cauliflower purée. Generally a light flavored dish with edamame and a final touch of lemon vinaigrette, yet not losing out on savoriness with contribution by the bacon bits. What's disappointing was the dryness of the salmon due to overcooking.

An alfresco dining bar in a coffeeshop setting. I was looking forward to try the salmon pesto spaghetti, only to realize they have actually revamped the menu upon reaching.

Personally, vongole is a safe choice. A plate full of baby clams swimming in white wine sounds especially appealing, I love pouring the white wine over the clams before eating for stronger flavor absorption. Perhaps spaghetti goes really well as a 'soup-based' pasta, like this one that's cooked till al dente. And Greens should never be left out! Parsley - the reason behind a mild bitter, leafy herbal flavor amidst the seafood.

Go early to avoid the long queue!

Ok this place was pretty inaccessible but the food was legit worth it. Had the Australian 100 days Grain- Fed Striploin Steak (250gm) ($22 +2 for truffle fries). It came with fries (+$2 for truffle fries), a salad (sauce was meh), caramelised onions and brown sauce. The outer layer has this nice crisp while the meat was soOoOoOooO juicy and well seasoned :’). ESPECIALLY WHEN I ATE IT WITH THE FATS oh man, crying internally cus i miss it so much while typing this. Had it with their beer on tap ($11 I THINK i can’t remember). He had Angus Flank Steak “served Medium Rare” ($22) with bottled beer but overall i still prefer mine. can’t wait to head back for their pasta n maybe even more steak wuuhuuuu

The meat was succulent and tender; it fell off the bone cleanly the moment I cut into it. The pasta complemented with the meat as it takes away the meaty sensation for a while. Definitely a highly recommended dish to go for when you're here. They also serve salmon and pasta at affordable prices.

Slow-cooked Pork Ribs, Orzo Salad, Tangy Barbecue Sauce, Rosemary Crumb 》$16

Located next to Yuhua Village Market & Food Centre, this evening-time Western stall (they only operate from 4:30 to 10:30pm) turns out some really quality plates that belie its coffeeshop setting. Most dishes are under $20, and they certainly don't skimp on the portion sizes. You won't go wrong with their steaks, which they do pretty well. Try the Striploin ($20), perfectly grilled and served with a side of ratatouille that Tastemaker Fabian Poon is a fan of. Alternatively, consider the Fish and Chips ($9.50), which sees an almost grease-free, lightly battered fish paired with a house-made tartare sauce; or the fall-off-the-bone Sticky Pork Ribs ($16) served with a tangy orzo salad that Tastemaker Emily S felt paired really well together. Pro tip: Bring enough cash, as they neither accept NETS nor credit card.

Norwegian Salmon Steak ($16.50 nett)

One of my usual favourite dishes except different this time - I think when they revamped their menu, they replaced couscous with Orzo Salad? & also it is now more expensive? Still a great steak though, but old-timers beware the lack of couscous 😔

Sticky Pork Ribs ($16 nett)
Tender, almost fall-off-the-bone ribs. Good flavours, I'd order this again. I've never paired pork ribs with Orzo Salad, but it was tangy & went quite well together.

Tuna Salad Nicoise ($14 nett)

I'd been eating all freaking day, so it was time to go for this salad that I'd always been curious about, but never tried because I was always starving when I come here & ain't nobody got time fo salads when hangry.

Turns out this is more filling than I expected it to be! Not as much as a pasta dish, obviously.. But quite substantial. Could be the many salad leaves, could be the potato chunks. I wish they put the dressing to the side, though. If I order this again, I will be sure to ask of this.
